Our Verdict
The Tokina AT-X PRO SD 11-16 F2.8 IF DX II Nikon is a great model for those who are shooting action photos or videos with high speed cameras, but does not work well with all focus sensors.
This is an excellent option if you are looking for better image quality when compared to other similar models, but still can’t justify the cost of the Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Zoom Lens . Most users agree that images taken with Tokina’s version two are sharper overall, although there were some reports about chromatic aberration when using low aperture settings. If this is an issue for you, then Nikon’s 10-24mm model is a better option.

The Tokina AT-X PRO SD 11-16 F2.8 IF DX II Nikon is a ultra wide aperture zoom lens that can cover 35mm frame sensors from eleven to sixteen millimeters.
